Cinco Rios Lodge - Coyhaique, Chile
In the winter, escape from the Northern Hemisphere and head south to the peaceful depths of Chilean Patagonia. When areas of North America, such as Montana, are wrapped in a mantle of cold and snow, Chilean Patagonia basks in spring and summer warmth.
Chile has been the safest, stable and most friendy South American country. The Aysén Region of Chile has preserved a unique fishery that has made it world wide famous, as the resident brown trout capital of South America. Cinco Rios Lodge is located 10 minutes from Coyhaique, the Capital City of the Aysén Region, right on the banks of the Simpson River. To get to our lodge you just have to fly to the Balmaceda airport, 3 hours south from Santiago. Once here we will be waiting for you at the airport and will drive for 45 minutes to the Lodge.
The season at Cinco Rios Chile runs from the first of November through the first week of May. The word awesome could very well have been created to try to describe this spot in the depths of the incredible Patagonian Andes
Cinco Rios Chile surprises because of its diversity; it combines the best of Chilean fisheries; from the meandering spring creeks of the Patagonic Pampas, to the crystal clear waters of the western rainforest. All surrounded with spectacular mountains and peaks, heavily encased in glaciers, surrounding you protectively like a parent's cape, creating a very unique and picturesque ambient that allow visitors to experience the trip of a life time.
Out of Cinco Rios our guests fish for wild brown and rainbow trout, as well as king and Coho Salmon. We are proud of the all we have to offer; fascinating landscapes; a world class fishery; luxurious accommodations; and gourmet Chilean food; a fine selection of Chilean wines and beverages (included); and very experienced and bilingual guides.
